Dennis and Rick first met back in the early 1980s when they started playing together as Spontaneous Combustion with Dennis on drums, Rick playing guitar, keyboards and vocals and Matt Feinberg on bass guitar. The band roster and name changed and it became know as Physical Traces with John Romanowski playing bass guitar. Although they never recorded an album back then, their music was very progressive and quite good. Now Dennis and Rick are back together again recording The Nebula Project: In Search of Converging Sounds. The new CD collaboration will be an improvisational, intergalactic, new age search for musical sounds reminiscent of matter in a chaotic universe trying to form into organized structures. The recording is finished, the mixes are almost complete and The Nebula Project CD is about ready to go out for final mastering.
